Capturing…You!
Happy you’re here! I’d love to explain a bit about what’s in store for you if you book a session with me, and answer any questions you might have.
First off, for me, variety is my goal when creating a portfolio for my clients. As I go into any session, it’s important to me that I capture diversity in expression, mood, outfit and location. Because this is so, I encourage my clients to dream big and push the limits. Practice expressions in the mirror at home, bring distinct and bold clothing, and consider a few places that will best highlight your personality and your style.
Unsurprisingly then, you are welcome and encouraged to change outfits as many times as you’d like. In my experience, three outfit changes is probably the most common, but some subjects change four or five times (or none)…so if you want to wear something, bring it! Too, if you have questions about a particular outfit, I’d be happy to discuss it with you, and how it fits in with the vision of our shoot.
Location is critical to our shoot, so I’d suggest one spot with a diversity of background options, or multiple locations that are relatively near each other. A common method I use is starting downtown for an urban look, then heading over to a nearby park or forest for the latter portion. If you have a place that is personal to you, I’m happy to head your way, but if you need some counsel for possible spots, I’ll certainly provide you a few options that usually work great.
I am based in Stillwater, OK, so if we shoot around my area, I’ll have lots of suggestions, but if you’d like me to travel to you, I am absolutely delighted to do that as well. Depending on how far I will have to travel, I will charge a very reasonable fee for fuel.
Bad weather is a fact of life, and there is no penalty for rescheduling for any reason, be it rain, wind (which can be very disruptive), or low or high temperatures. Too, if you feel under the weather, have a skin flare up, or have an unexpected conflict, I am more than happy to choose a better time for our appointment. We want every factor to be at our advantage!
If you decide to book I would love to meet you before hand to discuss specific details, or, at very least have a phone conversation so that we can familiarize ourselves with each other! At that meeting (or after our discussion) I’d love to start text thread where you can share pictures of locations, outfits, and the general style of photographs that appeal to you, so that I can best capture you and everything that makes you unique!
The Investment
As is everything in life, this pricing is a guide, and I would love to cater something specific to meet your needs.
My sessions are $250. This will include the images, post processed and ready to share. You can select your images via an online gallery, or, as I prefer, you can head to the studio to view the images together.
Too, if you would like to share your shoot with a friend (this works particularly well for seniors), you are welcome to do so, at $25 per extra person!
If you would like to book multiple shoots, I will discount the price per session. This works particularly well when you have a Senior who would like both summer and fall looks…and if you want to add a studio session; this will insure you get a better deal, and a more well rounded portfolio.
Half the session cost is due at booking to reserve your spot. This money can be refunded up to one week before your scheduled shoot.
Again, if there is anything I haven’t covered here, please email, or call or text me at (405) 880-5562
