Capturing…the spaces around us!
Large or small, every thoughtfully conceived and carefully crafted project deserves to be immortalized in photographs. From the small town remodeler to the national construction contractors and architects, I love working with my clients to produce interesting, valuable evidence about the wonders of structure and engineering.
For over a decade I have captured a wide array of projects, coordinating with the actual builders, or with marketing departments, creating, when at my best, photographs that land at the intersection of art and commerce. My work is displayed on walls, websites, marketing materials, and contest entry applications, all to my great pleasure.
If you have a project that need photographed, by meeting in person or on a call we will discuss the scope of the work needed. A few of the typical questions we will discuss are as follows:
What direction does your project face?
Does it have exterior lighting?
Would this project be best served with sunrise or twilight photography?
What is the square footage?
Do you want people in the photographs?
Once we come to an understanding about what photos will best showcase your project’s essence, we can discuss how best it can be done in consideration of your budget.
That said, a basic guide for pricing is as follows…
Generally I work by the hour, prorated to the quarter of the hour, knowing there are some projects that, while small, deserved memorializing. My hourly rate is based on my time onsite, so you will not be charged for travel or editing time, apart from a mileage fee and travel expenses. Too, I offer half day and full day rates, which are beneficial for larger projects, or a series of projects, or those structures where both day and twilight photography is essential to displaying the true scope of a build in all its unique splendor.
All my work will be copyright released to my clients, for their use, and in perpetuity. My clients will receive all the images in their fully edited, full resolution state, and will include RAW originals if requested.
I am happy to work with various contributors to a single project, be they architects, contractors, or subcontractors, and will willingly capture the whole, or part, of a particular project to suit my clients needs.
I am also very experienced and excited to capture all the aspects of your business as well, from candid photographs of your employees working in the field or in an office, to formal, on location, studio portraits for your website, bids and estimate submissions, and promotional marketing materials. I am very comfortable working with a diversity of job types and personalities, and I consider it a great privilege to be entrusted with working with every business’ greatest assets, their employees. I’m very much at home with photographing even the most begrudging a subject, for the betterment of your business, and honoring those that work hard with very little recognition.
I am happy to arrive onsite, hard hat in hand, to capture the bustle and grind of a day in the field, be it hot or frigid, and too, I have very comfortable in an office, with my studio lights and a portable background set up, if uniformity is what you need for your particular uses.
The possibilities are as varied as are the businesses they represent, and I relish the opportunity to discuss how I can help you to achieve your goals and capture your vision.
If there is anything I haven’t covered here, please email, call or text me at (405) 880-5562 and I’d be happy to speak with you.
